Today after church we will be playing the video created by the United Church Observer on the Syrian family we assisted in sponsoring.

We are planning a road trip to Niagara Falls on Saturday, May 28 to host the 19 members of the Palestinian Syrian family we have helped to sponsor.  They arrived on February 2 and are doing really well.  This outing will give us a chance to play together, to host them on a special outing and get better acquainted.   If you would like to come on the school bus with us, contact the church office at 905.689.8630 as soon as possible.  If the bus fills up, we can take private vehicles as well.  Plan to bring a salad or desert to share for a picnic lunch.  We plan to go to the Butterfly conservatory, to the falls, and to Queenston Heights.  Donations toward the costs are welcome.

Welcome Back to local Migrant Workers. Please save June 25 for our Welcome Back for our friends from away. We are thrilled to have the Hamilton Youth Steel Drum Orchestra entertaining all of us including all of Kilbride. Now would be a good time to start clearing those closets of men’s clothing, bedding and towels. Let’s continue to show the world just how small but mighty we are.
