Followers of the Celtic Way, continuing weekly on Saturdays at 5:00pm, at St. George’s Anglican Church, 7051 Guelph Line, Campbellville..We offer a Celtic spirituality that emphasizes the goodness and sacredness of all God’s Creation as it informs our daily lives, and therefore calls us to be environmental stewards of Creation and to affirm the equality and dignity of all people. This is an informal gathering (50-60 minutes) of songs, meditation, and prayer, with the music accompanied each week by an instrument of a Celtic flavour such as fiddle, flute or harp. A light supper will be provided afterwards. All ages welcome – come as you are.
Dessert Euchre, Monday, October 2 – 7:00 pm at Nassagaweya Presbyterian Church, 3097 15 Side Rd, Campbellville, ON L0P 1B0. Dessert will be served first with 8 games of Euchre to follow. ‘Yours Affectionately’ Concert on Saturday October 14, 7:00pm at St Paul’s United Church in Milton. Rosanne Warren, flute, Larisa Gulenco, piano and Marion Samuel-Stevens, soprano, with support by St Paul’s choir present a concert including actual letters sent by Ontario settlers back to their loved ones in Scotland in the mid 1800’s, and music popular in the era. Admission is by donation at the door, suggested at 15$. Be part of Canada’s birthday party and soak up local history and music. See you there!
