Sharon Banks gave an update on the joint Kilbride/Carlisle Migrant Worker Dessert initiative. She was so happy to report that they received 10 contributions from Kilbride—-that’s 240 cookies/squares! Sharon sends her heartfelt thanks for supporting this new initiative. In total 90 boxes of goodies were delivered to the farms. A big thank you to Sobey’s Waterdown who donated a $400 gift card so that attractive packaging and additional goodies/Halloween treats could be added to the boxes.

Remember to offer hospitality to strangers for you may unknowingly be welcoming angels.
