Thank you to all who came out to the church on Wednesday to decorate the sanctuary and prepare for the decoration of the Tree for our “Hanging of the Greens” Service this Sunday. We would like to recognize Jeff Swance from Swance Tree Farm for the donation of the beautiful Balsam Fir and high tech tree stand (to be returned for next year 😉).

Thank you to the Carlisle/Kilbride Prayer Circle for their continued ministry. As part of their ministry they are privileged to offer prayer shawls to people who are experiencing illness or grief. A number of shawls were blessed at our November 21, 2021 service. Below pics of Sharon Banks offering Bob Dixon a shawl for daughter Heather.

  • Saturday, November 27, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – UCW Bazaar and Artisan and Vendor Sale at Carlisle United Church
  • Saturday, November 27, 2021, 9:00 a.m. to Noon – The Carlisle Scouts are also having a bottle drive in the Carlisle United Church parking lot.
  • Sunday, December 12, 2021, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Blue Christmas Service. A quiet service for those who find the season of Christmas heightens feelings of grief or sadness, pain, or loneliness.
