The Sunday December 19, 2021 worship resources are available to download for the Fourth Sunday of Advent: Love. The online links are below. Thank you Heather for including the Anne Murray version of “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”. We hope you all watched the documentary “Anne Murray: Full Circle”.

Thank you to Sharon Banks and Lynn Gladstone for organizing the Kilbride/Carlisle participation in the Wesley Christmas Store. In addition to our church donations, Kilbride Public School staff and students collected a long train of boxes filled with gifts and non-perishable food. Kevin, Kaiha, Lauchlan, and Maureen delivered their full vehicles to very appreciative Wesley volunteers at Pioneer Memorial United Church last Wednesday. Kevin and Maureen believe our donations exceeded a $10,000 value. Attached are some pictures of the event. In addition to the Wesley contributions, Kilbride/Carlisle United Churches were able to help 3 families using the benevolent fund.

Christmas Eve at Kilbride

We are sure you have all been following the news about COVID-19 and the new variant spread. At this time the Christmas Eve service is planned with physical distancing, masking, and attendee vaccination proof. The joint Kilbride/Carlisle United Logistics Committee (tasked with developing COVID-19 protocols for our churches) will be meeting on Tuesday to review and discuss our existing protocols in light of new emerging COVID information. We are hoping that we will be able to have our Christmas Eve service; however, cancellation of the service will probably be on the table for discussion. We are eager to get your input so please call Maureen or send her an email. For the time being, send her an email at or call 905-333-9545 if you plan to attend the Christmas Eve Service at Kilbride.
