
Dorothy Lambert, Maureen Trenkler’s mother passed away on January 21st in her 96th year.
A service of Remembrance will be celebrated on February 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Linden Park United Church, 484 East 16th Street, Hamilton.

Lambert, Dorothy (McDiarmid) Born in Ingersoll, Ontario passed away on January 21st in her 96th year. Forever lovingly remembered by daughters Lynn Harrett (Randy) and Kelly Lambert (John Ecklund). Dorothy has gone to re-unite with her beloved husband Neil Lambert (2009) and treasured daughters Maureen Trenkler (George) (2022) and Stephanie Pust (Jamie Graham) (2018). Cherished Grandmother (Grandma Dort) of Andrew, Matthew, Jenny, Conner, Charlie, Irene and Joshua. Her faithful nieces Carolyn Rokosh (Dave), Marsha Ahrens and Catherine Mangan (Marty) will cherish their memories. Dort will be missed by Joe Pust, extended family and a large circle of friends.
Dorothy lead an active life. A dedicated member of Linden Park United Church and she was a life member of the United Church Women. Dorothy joyfully shared her talents of crocheting, knitting, quilting, cooking and baking with family, friends and neighbours including support to CAPS, SPCA and Neighbour to Neighbour. In her later years she faced her world with resiliency and enjoyed The Wellness Center of Burlington, her home at Christopher Terrace and most recently the caring residence of CAMA Woodlands. A service of Remembrance will be celebrated on February 11th at 11:00am at Linden Park United Church, 484 East 16th Street, Hamilton.
