Sunday Service: 11:00 a.m. at Carlisle United Church (Kilbride Service Cancelled)

The Order of Service for Sunday, March 19, 2023, Lent Four, was prepared by Rev. Allison Playfair, music selected by Heather Olaveson.

The Kilbride Service is cancelled for Sunday, March 19, 2023. Unfortunately, Rev. Allison is sick. We wish her a speedy recovery. The Board meeting will now be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Church. Anyone wishing to attend the Sunday Service is invited to attend at Carlisle United Church at 11:00 a.m.

  • Thank you once again to Jeff Swance for looking after our parking lot and John and Lyndsey for ensuring our sidewalks are safe.
  • This year, Kilbride United Church will not be doing a fertilizer sale; however, Carlisle United Church will be selling both fertilizer and grass seed. Visit www.carlisleuc.ca/fertilizer-sale to place your order by Monday, April 3, 2023. Orders will be delivered on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
  • Upcoming dates to know:
    • April 6, 2023 – Maundy Sunday at Carlisle Church at 7:00 p.m.
    • April 7, 2023 – Good Friday at Kilbride Church at 10:00 a.m.
    • April 27, 2023 – The Church bell will ring 10 times at 4:00 p.m. to remember the day Marianne Schuett was kidnapped. She was 10 years old at that time. There will be no formal event. If you would like to be there, please join us.
    • May 2023 – we will look forward to the annual Carlisle and now Kilbride Flower Sale as well as the drive-through chicken dinner on May 13, 2023. Details will come shortly, and volunteers will be needed.
