This special joint Holy Week service will be accompanied by special music as well: we welcome members of the Carlisle choir and St James praise band, including St James’ new Music Director Emily Germain. This joint ensemble – consisting of various combinations of violin, flute, guitar, percussion, piano, and solo and choral voices – will join us on all the hymns and sung responses, including a prelude collaboration between Music Directors. In addition, the musicians have all been hard at work on a powerful and moving contemporary anthem that is sure to be one of the many highlights of the service.
