The Flamborough Food Bank is a not-for-profit, community based organization that supplements individual and family household food and personal care needs through community donations and resources. It is located in Carlisle United Church.

Who is Eligible?

The Food Bank is open to anyone who is in need of food or personal care supplements.

The Food Bank also offers other assistance such as Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas food hampers.

Clients can only be registered with one food bank in the Hamilton area. Clients are welcome to come in every two weeks.

To register as a client, please fill out a registration form at the food bank. The registration process requires: Photo ID, proof of residency, proof of income and major expenses.

Wednesday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Wednesday 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

How to Help?

Cash donations are always welcome, as are volunteers.

Food drop off places include:

  • Sobeys (255 Dundas Street East, Waterdown)
  • Fortino’s (115 Hamilton Street North, Waterdown)
  • Waterdown Fire Station 24 (252 Parkside Drive, Waterdown)

For major donations, please call in advance as we cannot accept donations during Food Bank hours. We will gladly accommodate you at other times.
